Hey!,
My name is Ashley Cee, and I teach Booty Bounce 'Twerk Essentials' at Romance & Dance, Carson. I have always been a dancer, from Sharp Competitions, to the backyard family Bbq, to your local club dance floor. Lol. My R&D journey began as a student in Anesia’s Abs & Ass class in 2016. I first stepped foot in the R&D Studio weighing about 75 pounds more than I am today and I will never forget how comfortable she made me feel to just be myself, have fun, and dance! I then decided to get into Brit Brat’s Twerk Classes, and it has been history ever since. I loved her sexy/street Twerk style and how she challenged me to bring my best out, and remember who tf I am. These experiences shaped my Life AND my Body in so many positive ways.
I would compare my dancing style to Beyoncé. I keep it real Cute, very Sexy, Diva for sure, but we gon definitely back it up and dump and it back, can’t forget the little hood in me, Lol. I am so happy to be an instructor now so I can give to my students what R&D gave to me, love, encouragement, reassurance, & BOMB A$$ ENERGY! I do not believe in the words NO or CAN’T in my class. So Leave ya No’s at the Do’ and come Throw dat A$$ With Ash!!
My favorite R&D memory is teaching my very first lesson at Phee’s 2021 Birthday Jammy Jam. I was so nervous and excited. But It went absolutely Perfect. The girls killed the choreo, and I was SO proud of myself. The best part is really though, the next day when Bosslady called to tell me “You Da Sh!t, I didn’t expect anything less.” I knew right then, I was gon keep giving her reasons to say that. <3
